Shop Subscription Relief Refunds

1. Promotion Period

The shop subscription refund promotion (“Promotion”) will be available from 5^th of November to 25^th of Nocember 2020 (“Promotion Period”).  eBay will refund your shop subscription if you have to shut down your shop for an extended period of time in accordance with these T&Cs. For November, if you turn on holiday settings and hide all fixed price listings for 21 days or more, eBay will credit back the month’s shop subscription. If you turn on holiday settings and hide all fixed price listings for 10 days or more between the 5th and 25th of the month but not the full period, eBay will credit back 50% of the month’s shop subscription.

 

2. Eligibility

This Promotion is open to sellers who:

1. are registered on www.eBay.co.uk (the “Site”);
2. have been invited to take part in the Promotion and have actively opted in via the RSVP link in the email or via the ‘My Messages’ page before the relevant date, in accordance with these T&Cs; and
3. have an eBay shop subscription on 5th November 2020.

Participation is linked to the seller’s account and is not transferable.

 

3. Promotion and Procedure

• This Promotion only applies to periods where you have turned on holiday settings and chosen the option to hide your fixed price listings. Any period where you turn on holiday settings but choose not to hide your fixed price listings does not qualify for this Promotion.

• If your shop is on holiday mode with all fixed price listings hidden for 21 days or more from the 5th to the 25th (inclusive) of November 2020, eBay will credit back 100% of the shop subscription fee for the month. You must opt into the Promotion before the 25th of November.


• If your shop is on holiday with all fixed price listings hidden for 10 days or more from the 5th to the 25th (inclusive) of November 2020 (but not the full period), eBay will credit back 50% of your shop subscription fees for November 2020.


• You will receive your credit as follows:
  • If you receive your eBay invoice at the end of each month: Any credit for this shop subscription will appear in your invoice dated November 30th.
  • If you receive your eBay invoice in the middle of each month: Any credit for this shop subscription will appear in your invoice dated December 15th.


• If you have changed your shop subscription tier during the Promotion Period, we will look at the actual shop subscription fees incurred in each period and credit back based on this value.


• This Promotion does not impact your eligibility into any other promotion.


• This Promotion works independently of eBay’s Fee Deferral programme. Any credits will be awarded as per timings above regardless of any fees (including store subscriptions) you may have deferred via eBay’s Fee Deferral programme.


• If you are eligible for the promotion you will receive a RSVP link via an email invitation or via ‘My Message’ page.


• Any other fees (such as insertion fees and listing upgrade fees) will still apply and will be charged in accordance with the eBay fees policy.

4. Restrictions and exclusions

The following are excluded:

• Sellers who do not have an active shop subscription on the 5th November 2020.


• Sellers who have not actively opted into the Promotion via the RSVP link before the end of the Promotion Period. Please note the timelines above as failure to enter into the Promotion before 25th November 2020, will mean that you are no longer eligible for the credit for the month (in whole or in part).

5. General

Any attempt to manipulate the Promotion is prohibited and will result in exclusion from participation.

eBay reserves the right to suspend, change or cancel the Promotion at any time, in the event of circumstances arising which, in eBay's opinion, make it necessary for it to do so. eBay reserves the right to add additional terms and conditions for certain parts of the Promotion.

eBay also reserves the right to exclude users on the basis that their seller accounts have fallen below the minimum required seller performance standards or for any reason in eBay’s absolute discretion. Sellers should confirm eligibility by checking their account status on My eBay.

The decision of eBay regarding any aspect of the Promotion is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

eBay reserves the right to verify your eligibility for this Promotion.

eBay may also disqualify any entrant who does not act in accordance with these Terms and Conditions (or is acting in a way which contravenes the spirit and intention of these Terms and Conditions) or eBay's User Agreement, and/or any policies that eBay may communicate to you.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Each party irrevocably agrees to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts over any claim or matter arising under these Terms and Conditions.
